Welcome to the Sierra Nevada Soccer Association!

The Sierra Nevada Soccer Association welcomes you to its website.  The site will allow the league to link to the USASA and process player registrations online.  In addition, the site provides better scheduling functionality.  If you have any questions about the site, please use the contact information on this website.

Opening for New Team for Spring 2010

Due to the loss of one of our Fall 2009 teams, the league is looking for a new team to join for the Spring 2010 season (and beyond).  If you are interested in entering a team in the league, please send an e-mail to administrator@snsoccer.com.  All teams will start in the Silver Division.

Spring 2010 Men's Outdoor League Begins Play March 14, 2009
Online registration now open!

The Men’s League will begin its Spring 2010 season on Sunday, March 14, 2010.  The league will be separated into two divisions based upon standings from Fall 2009.  Players must be part of a team--no individual registrations will be allowed.

Online player registration is now available.  Registration will close on May 1, 2010.  The per player fee is $75.  Fees may be paid by credit card online.  Checks will not be be accepted.

Notice of Rule Enforcement

All teams must have a full uniform kit for each player beginning with the start of play on March 14, 2010.  All players must have matching, numbered jerseys (each player with a different number), and all shorts and socks must match.  Players without the appropriate kit will not be allowed to play.  All teams must have a light (home) and dark (away) jersey as well.

This rule has been on the books for a year, and most teams have tried to meet the requirements.  Now, the rules will be enforced every Sunday.

Player ID Update

All players will be required to present a valid driver’s license to the referee before being allowed to play in a game.  Furthermore, all players must entered their information and photo as part of the registration process, including birth date, address, telephone number, and gender (we do have some women playing).

Please note that if your name does not appear on the referee’s roster for your team as registered and paid, you will not be allowed to play.  The referees will not allow anyone to play who is not listed on the printed roster.  Rosters will be frozen on the Friday before the day of the game.  If a player is not registered by that time (including payment of all fees) prior to that time, then the player will not be allowed to play in the next game.

See you on the field.
